Running on fumes

I ran out of gas last week! We’ve been driving our old Buick in the heat since it has working air conditioning, but it doesn’t have a gas light or alarm like our other car.

Adelaide was barefoot, but excited for the adventure. Augie on the other hand was very uncooperative on the walk back from the gas station. He just wanted to be held by his pregnant mama…who was carrying a gas can…in 90 degree weather. So he sat down and cried every few feet. Thankfully we were only a couple blocks away from the gas station. And he was helpful once we got to the car.

We just need to save up for a Tesla.

I got my hairs cut

I volunteered for a Bumble and Bumble hair demo last week. It may be the most “normal” haircut I’ve gotten as a hair model, but I think I’m OK with it.

When it was done, one of the stylists said, “Aw, you look like a mom!” I laughed and said, “Is that a good thing?”

Regardless, I like having short hair again. My hair doesn’t do anything when it’s long. Lazy hair.

She has decided

Adelaide: I decided I am not going to get married.

Daddy: Why is that?

Adelaide: Because I want to stay with Augie and you and Mommy.

Mommy: Well I think that is a good decision. I definitely want you around for the next 15 or 20 years.

Daddy: 15

Mommy: But if you change your mind, just let us know.

Adelaide: I will never change my mind. I am sure.
