This time Adelaide got to go on some more new rides! Silly Symphony Swings, Star Tours, Space Mountain (twice), and Tower of Terror (twice). She loved it all! Except I think Tower of Terror was a little too much for her. She handled it well, but she still asks us what happened to the people in the elevator.
Adelaide: My arm hurts.
Mommy: Your arm hurts? Why?
Adelaide: Oh, but because my food went down the wrong pipe, to my arm.
I love it when Adelaide makes up her own songs.
This one is a Christmas song. She calls it, “Trees Growing.”
- Zizzors – “I’m going to use this chair to get my zizzors.”
- But because – “I need my zizzors but because I want to cut paper.”
- Made of stable – “Is it OK to use this chair but because it is made of stable?”
- What should happen – “What should happen if the chair tips over?”
Adelaide: Do you want to play a game, Daddy?
Daddy: (taking a moment to relax) Not right now, Adelaide.
Adelaide: Do you want to play with toys, Daddy?
Daddy: I want to play with nothing.
Adelaide: (holding a rubber ducky) This duck, his name is Nothing. Here you go!
She’s pretty good with lyrics. She says she learned the song from the Splash Mountain ride, which she’s been on twice.
I enjoy the eyebrow action she gives a couple of times. And the clapping.
EDIT: She could not have learned this song on Splash Mountain, as the characters do not sing the original lyrics.
